The EKC Search Directory is a database of Speech and Language Practitioners (“SLPs”). Each SLPs is a qualified practitioner in their field and as part of the registration process as a Directory Member, each has satisfied us as to their qualifications and suitability to tutor children and vulnerable adults (all hold DBS or equivalent vetting certificates). Should you wish to purchase services (singular or multiple) you may choose any SLP from the Directory to provide those services and contact them through the Directory contact facility. You engage the SLP to provide services on terms that you agree direct with that SLP, and you acknowledge and agree that your agreement with the SLP is not an agreement with EKC. SLPs are independent of EKC. The EKC Search Directory acts only as a platform for bringing together students and service providers. EKC does not warrant as to the suitability of the SLP to the Student or that the services will be successful. It is for the Parent/Guardian (or Student) to satisfy themselves as to the suitability of the SLP to deliver the services required by the Student and to select the services most suitable to the Student’s needs.
