Post-Grad Diploma in Voice Pathology - What is your experience?
- I have been working with children with voice disorders of various causes for the last 20 years. I am competent in performing laryngeal examination on children using laryngoscopes (both rigid laryngoscopy and flexible nasoendoscopy). I am also experienced in working with professional children singers.
I am bilingual, speak both English and Arabic fluently. - How much do you charge?
- For the initial assessment the charge is £150 (an hour session)
For the follow up appointments the charge is £ 75 (half an hour session)
Diagnostic or treatment laryngoscopy charge is £300 - Whereabouts do you teach?
- I practice at Blackheath Hospital in Southeast London
I also practice at Westend Medical in Central London (Near Maryleboune Station)

- I have a very high success rate with over 90% of clients achieving their target of therapy by the end of their course.

- Where did you train?
- I qualified as a medical doctor in 1996 from Cairo University, Egypt. I obtained my MSc degree following 3 years of specialised training in the same university. In 2005, I trained and studied my Post-Grad Diploma in voice pathology at University College London, then in 2008, I obtained my MD degree from Cairo University, Egypt. I have been the Lead Voice Therapist in University Hospital Lewisham for the last 9 years.
