Consonant Vowel Lip Exercises
Exercise No 12
We are now going to add a consonant sound to our vowel exercises.
As before your are going to gently touch your lips for ‘M’ whilst pushing your lips gently forward making the shape of an ‘O’ for the ‘Ah’.
Tuck the tip of your tongue behind your lower front teeth - try not to move the tip of your tongue during your vowel exercises.
Then slowly push your lips forwards for the ‘Maw’ and then bring your lips downwards for the ‘Moo’.
Now, smile widely like the Cheshire Cat for the ‘May’ and try to touch the tip of your nose with your lips for the ‘Moh’.
Do not move your mouth or jaw - only your lips are allowed to move!
